Religious,
hurt and hopeful
In an ongoing effort to bring awareness of
this situation Ynet, Israel's foremost English Language On-line News
source has recently published an article on the issue of domestic
violence within the religious community. This article
does more than highlight the problem; it also allows us to understand
how difficult it is for these women to escape their nightmare. After
their time in the shelter these women are generally on their own, with
small children in tow, and must begin to establish themselves anew.
